
Is there a cure?
Unfortunately there is not yet a cure for psoriasis. There is, however, A LOT of research going on in this field to find one.

Will my children have psoriasis too?
There is a genetic link with psoriasis; however, we know the condition is multifactorial which means that there are different factors that contribute to the risk of developing psoriasis.

Does developing psoriatic arthritis mean my psoriasis is getting worse?

Typically…no. It’s just a different manifestation of the disease. Some patients only get psoriatic arthritis, whereas others have just the skin disease. It can be hard to predict what patients may get arthritis.

Is psoriasis caused by the food I eat?

There’s very little data that suggests that psoriasis is caused by food allergies.
